We had a wonderful time visiting the Children's Farm in Palos Park. We got to explore the barn, learn about stallions and measure ourselves in hands. We got up close to chickens, piglets, calves, and sheep, ducks, goose, and bunnies. We also met an adorable pony and donkey. A farmer took us out on a hayride to pick our own pumpkin. Look for pictures next week of us painting our pumpkins.
We are excited to share the happenings of our first grade classroom. We look forward to connecting with you!

Empty walls have been changed into wonderful learning stations. I cannot believe that all the little desks will tomorrow hold little bodies, eager to learn and transform as well!
